The most robust system is the one that has no weak links. Eagle™ links have a smooth profile, without sharp edges or bevels, which drastically reduces noise, friction and wear. This design also allows for flatter links, which translates into a more stable connection of the rivets and greater robustness. All these elements contribute to the qualities of effectiveness, durability and silence that characterize Eagle together with the 10-50 cassette and the X-SYNC™2 chainrings. Installation is simplified thanks to the specific 12v Eagle Quick Link link.

FlowLink
The internal links of the chain are ultra smooth and completely free of sharp edges: the result is the perfect coupling between cassette gears and chain, with less friction, greater silence and long life. The design is narrower, capable of withstanding higher angles, plus it has flat outer links resulting in stronger riveting and superior strength.
Hard Chrome™
The Sram Hard Chrome™ chain is 4 times stronger than other chains, thanks to the new finishing process. The main features are equivalent to current Sram chains, but the Hard Chrome™ chain lasts even longer.
