Proprietary design from Goodyear Bicycle Tires that offers all the benefits of a Tubeless Ready (TLR) tire with additional air retention properties.
A layer of multi-compound material is added to the tire carcass, allowing for improved air retention while providing additional protection from punctures and cuts with minimal weight gain. Our unique design means more sealant remains after installation, ready when you need it.
A: Shield
This is a layer of additional puncture protection located under the tread covering of the tyre. Tires using our R:Shield offer excellent puncture protection while their sidewalls remain elastic to ensure high performance.
