The thermal shirt is the first thing to think about when assorting your collection of cold weather garments, exactly the area in which Castelli has defined the standard of what clothing is capable of doing. We have adopted the same approach here. You will wear this shirt on cold days, which is why we have equipped it with a brushed fabric interior but have maintained the elasticity of the fabric for an excellent fit. Since you'll be using it in situations that aren't cold enough for a jacket, we've engineered the fabric to let in some air so it doesn't overheat. We believe that a shirt like this should be pure functionality, which is why you have three roomy back pockets, an elastic with silicone inserts and a YKK® Vislon® sliding zip.
