The DIRETO XR-T is Elite's top of the range trainer without sprocket cassette, a precise trainer compatible with the most varied bike models.
Strengthened by an accuracy of 1.5% guaranteed by the integrated OTS power meter, the DIRETO to replicate climbs of up to an exorbitant 24%.
What is the difference between the DIRETO XR and the DIRETO XR-T?
DIRETO XR and DIRETO XR-T are two identical trainer models, equipped with the same technical characteristics both in structural terms and from an electronic point of view.
What distinguishes these two rollers is the sprocket cassette, which is included in the DIRETO XR and not included in the DIRETO XR-T.
Built-in power meter: Measure power accurately
What makes the DIRETO XR and DIRETO XR-T the most precise in the Elite trainer catalog is the integrated power meter, the OTS (Optical Torque Sensor).
The power meter allows the trainer to directly measure the power output during your workouts with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%, one of the highest on the market.
Simulate steeper slopes
The DIRETO XR-T is an interactive roller and for this reason it is able to automatically vary the resistance while you are training.
Thanks to a larger flywheel compared to previous Direto models, the DIRETO XR-T is able to simulate up to an incredible 24% of maximum slope.

Maximum compatibility
The DIRETO XR-T is one of the most compatible trainers on the market, perfect for both road bikes and mountain bikes.
Thanks to the new design, the roller is able to accommodate derailleurs with long cages for greater capacity on sprocket sets up to 12 speeds and is therefore compatible with Shimano®/SRAM 9/10/11 speed cassettes, Campagnolo 9/11 speed cassettes. 10/11/12 speed, SRAM NX 12 speed and Shimano® 12 speed micro Spline.
Use it with all indoor cycling software!
Like all Elite direct drive trainers, the DIRETO XR-T is also completely interactive, communicating with all software via ANT+™ FE-C and Bluetooth.
This results in total interaction of the trainer with all existing applications and software with iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows. Anywhere and at any time, with a few simple steps, just set the route or training program and start pedaling: DIRETO XR-T will take care of everything else, automatically varying the resistance and best managing the training according to your needs needs.
The trainer can be managed with Elite's My E-Training software (available free of charge for 12 months) or with other indoor cycling platforms such as Zwift (free for 1 month upon purchase of the trainer), TrainerRoad, Bikevo, Rouvy , Kinomap and many more.
Pedaling analysis
Pedaling analysis is the function available exclusively for the top of the range models in the Elite interactive trainer catalogue, which includes the DIRETO XR-T.
This function allows you to monitor the cyclist's power, measuring it in 24 points, throughout the entire pedaling range. Using two different types of graphs, the variation in power delivered during pedaling, the coordination of pedaling as a result of the combined work of the extensor and flexor muscles and also the roundness of pedaling and the mechanical efficiency of performance are displayed.
The pedaling analysis function is available for a fee within the Elite My E-Training software.
Sensorless technology for cadence
All Elite trainers immediately transmit power, speed and pedaling cadence data, making them truly effective tools for building a precise training plan and replicating road pedaling to the maximum.
Cadence measurement takes place through convenient sensorless technology, i.e. without sensors to be applied to the bike, and is based for the DIRETO XR-T on a sophisticated analysis of the power delivered measured by the integrated OTS power meter.
