The latest generation Santa Cruz Heckler 9 C 29 R has a larger swappable battery (720wh up from 504wh), allowing riders to expand their route map, accessing previously unattainable routes, unlocking less used routes and cramming in more more in less time.

The new Heckler has mixed or dual 29-inch wheel size options. Wheel size isn't the only option for cyclists. There is a full range of sizes from both medium to XXL, with the small frame having dual 27.5 wheels. Two levels of carbon (Santa Cruz's C and CC blends) open up the range of options for build kits.

The thing that sets our ebikes apart from the pack is the bike's trail manners. We sweated out the carbon layout and frame design so that it's strong enough to handle the huge amount of electric bikes allowed. There are no corners cut in the componentry, so your only concern is not getting lost rather than getting stuck with a mechanic. The geometry has been refined by many tests and feedback to make the ride fun both uphill and downhill. And finally, the legendary VPP suspension was tuned specifically for ebike use. The 150mm rear travel (with the 160mm front fork) seems to be the sweet spot for a bike meant to tame big trails on big days, with a little less anti-squat to give it glue-like traction on climbs that you will test yourself on.
