Tufo Hi-Composite carbon 28" tubular

Many professional cyclists choose tubulars to obtain superior performance on the road. It is the lightest of all types of tires and has less rolling resistance than a clincher, furthermore the higher pressures it can reach ensure maximum smoothness and an unparalleled feeling.

The application of a composite anti-puncture layer and a high carbon content compound has made it possible to use a thinner tread in this model, while still maintaining high resistance to wear and punctures. The thinner tread reduces rolling resistance, while the ideal properties of absorbing asphalt roughness are kept intact.

SPC Silica
Tufo uses this high-performance compound in most of its road tubulars. With a hardness index of 66 Shore (A), this mixture, composed of synthetic rubber and natural rubber with active silica charge, provides excellent wet grip and low rolling resistance.
