Tubular with soft and smooth 320 TPI Corespun carcass (acronym for Threads Per Inch) and an innovative compound capable of guaranteeing exceptional road holding and very low rolling resistance. Equipped with a protective band to reduce the risk of punctures and a strictly latex inner tube, to allow greater elasticity to be achieved in all conditions.

Handmade in Italy
All Veloflex tubulars are handcrafted and follow the production process which involves 35 strictly hand-made operations, starting from the raw materials and components (yarn, latex, rubber, glue, valves).

• Protection band: Puncture resistant calico band

• Rubber composition: Exclusive recipe of natural rubber and silica

• Valve: 42 mm Presta type with interchangeable mechanism

• Inner tube: The latex inner tube allows for greater elasticity and flexibility in all conditions, resulting in maximum smoothness on all types of surfaces.

• Casing: Soft and flexible 320 TPI (acronym for Threads Per Inch) Corespun casing, designed to give maximum smoothness to the racing bike tubular.

• Tread: Maximum road holding with the new natural rubber and silica tread. The RainDrop design is the heart of the tubular for exceptional grip and smoothness never experienced before.

• Internal polyester tape: Protects the inner tube of the tubular from the Zig Zag stitching which firmly closes the carcass on itself.

• External cotton tape: Allows the tubular to be glued to the rim, guaranteeing flexibility and elasticity as well as protecting the carcass from the excursion of the spoke nipples and any abrasions.

• Anti-puncture protection belt: A layer of protection against punctures in Calicot, a very tightly woven fabric that protects against the penetration of external bodies that could damage the carcass.
